Carrie Aarons' "On Thin Ice" is a great read. Nathan Rush lives a quiet life. He's the caretaker of a house in the town her lives. He got the job after his dad passed away. He grew up watching his dad do the job he was to take over since he was a little boy. All hell breaks loose when the owners are murdered and he's told the daughter is coming to the house to hide out until the police find out what happened to her parents. Camille Valon's life has gone up in smoke, literally. Her parents were set on fire by a madman who left her a note in her pocket for when she woke up in the snow in front of her burning house. She's been a competitive figure skater since she was little and now that her parent's are gone, she has no drive to do anything but hide in the house almost no one knows her family owns, and waits to hear from the private investigator she hired to find out what happened to her parents. Can the investigator find out what happened? What happens when Nate and Camille become friends? Find out this and more in this awesome read!!!
