It's been that way since she moved in with her Uncle Yank after her and her sisters lost their parents in a plane crash. One New Year's kiss changes how she feels about being looked at as one of the guys. At 26 she wants a man, but not any man, Damian Fuller, a outfielder for the Renegades. Every time she sees him she hopes for some flicker that he remembers their kiss, but he still treats her the same. One day she asks her sister for help. Sophie doesn't hesitate to give her lessons on being a girl. Micki dives in head first to the lessons and people aren't sure what to make of the new Micki. Will Damian notice her now? She's always prepared to answer questions and never doesn't know what to do. That is until one news story hits the papers and throws her co-worker/boss/family friend's world upside down, taking everything with it. Riley Nash needs Sophie's help to find Spencer. When he tells her why after hiring her to do his PR then makes sense. Follow them through twists and turns as they look for Spencer, and what happens when they finally find him. Her uncle Spencer has hired her to be the new PR addition to the company. She's moved into Micki's old apartment and is given her first assignment on her first day in the office, Roper, Micki's best friend, and center fielder for the Renegades need some help. He's trying to rehab his shoulder from an injury the previous season and his personal life is a mess. His family not able to leave him alone isn't helping either.
