Review for Muffy Wilson's Immortal Hearts

This is the story of my death.
It is not as it should be, but as it is.
It is not how I expected but, in the end, how I wanted.
It is not too soon, but sooner than I thought for my years.
It is perfect.
I am the sun, the wind, the stars in your eyes as you gaze into the moonlit heavens.
I am you, with you, in you—under your skin.
I reside in your heart.
And yet, it is not as it should be because it is our destiny.
It is our hearts, eternally entwined.
It is us—Immortal.

My Review

Muffy Wilson's "Immortal Hearts" is the third tale in The Hearts series! This one is a paranormal standalone. It has a different feel than the first two books. There are many new elements in this third tale. It feels like a widow is baring her grieving soul at the beginning - raw and powerful. I can't wait to see where this series goes from here. Can't wait to read #4!

Consenting Hearts - Cover

Just as we cannot live without dreams, we cannot live without love. Love is not found, for love is truly blind. Lovers do not meet for they dwell inside of one another until the the moment a whisper ignites the heart and a kiss touches the soul.
And we call that the beginning...of life.
And on Valentine's Day, what better way to lay tribute to love and lovers than with a love story that just happens--not on purpose, not by design, not by any other intention than to live life and love without boundaries? To fly limitless into the arms of someone who completes your soul—gives one wings.
Nothing can stop the power of love between a man and a woman.

My Review of #1:

Muffy Wilson's "Consenting Hearts" is the first tale in The Hearts series! It's a quick read...a little bit of sexy candy! Be sure to keep your vibrator handy! Lots of sexy foreplay and main action. I loved the Meesa element and that Sail is bi. I will definitely read more from Muffy Wilson!

Our hearts are the single thread, the single common denominator we share in our connection to one another as humans, cultures, men and women, lovers…family.

It sets us apart from other species and the love that is the product of our hearts rules and directs our existence.

It is this well-spring of emotion that is what enriches our lives.

Where would we, as humans, be without our hearts?

Where would we, as lovers, be without our hearts and the emotions that define our reality, our relationships,

and our loves?

Adrift, I bid you, adrift.

My Review of #2:

Muffy Wilson's "Secret Hearts" is the second tale in The Hearts series! This is a #2, but you can read it as a standalone. It's a quick read, a little bit of sexy candy! Dan and Angel are sexy - both past and present! Some hot slightly taboo sex! Great little story to read one-handed. I will definitely read more of this series.

Muffy, author of provocative romance about love, sex, hope and passion, was born in Texas to traditional parents. With two older brothers, she was the youngest, the family "princess," indulged and pampered. Her father was a career Colonel and pilot in the U.S. Air Force which required the family to travel extensively. Muffy spent her formative years in Europe and 'came of age' in France which forged her joie de vivre and love for books, writing and education.
Married and living in the tropical paradise of SW Florida along the Gulf Coast, Muffy dabbles in real estate, writes and enjoys life in the sun with her husband and wee Havanese pup, Burt.

  1. I am so honored and grateful that you are enjoying this series. It has been fun to write a little something different with each one. your generous praise leaves me reeling and I can't thank you enough. When we face drams, rejection, critiques so raw and jealous, one wonders if all this hard work, the long hours or writing and rewriting, the seemingly endless edits to get to a final piece are worth all the effort. The answer is a resounding 'Yes!" when met with fair and balanced reviews, encouraging and sincere reviews, like yours. You have a generous soul and I so appreciate your reading my work and leaving your impressions to share with others. Thank you. ~MW
