Review for Allyson Lindt's Reluctant

A Sexy-Sweet new Stepbrother Romance from Allyson Lindt: Reluctant

Blurb

Jodie’s got the perfect life plan—finish her graduate work at Stanford, land an internship at the most advanced transplant-research firm in the country, and become an innovator in the same field. There’s no room in her life for the random variable and a one-night stand with a guy who has no interest in sharing the responsibility of a child. The only person she can turn to is the stepbrother who made her life a living hell in high school.
Logan is intelligent, sexy-as-hell, and asinine to a fault. He’s got his kind moments, but they tend to end with him and Jodie screaming at each other… or screaming each other’s names, after they lose all their clothes. If they can’t stop the fighting-mixed-with-passion long enough to find a solution for the pending new arrival in Jodie’s life, they risk three futures.

My Review

Allyson Lindt's "Reluctant" is a Yeah, Baby and Your Ad Here Crossover. Jodie - poor girl - is a hard-working gal caught in a really unfortunate situation. Logan is the hot white knight step-brother. Logan is super mansome. Fantasy-inspiring! They have a great chemistry. Finally, a sweet step-brother!

Excerpt

“Stop.” When Jodie placed her palm on Logan's chest, it burned through his shirt. “Someone will see.”
“Good point.” He grabbed her hand and tugged her through the nearest door. Which happened to be the women’s restroom. He was grateful it was empty. He nudged her into the stall at the end, kicked the door shut, and grasped her face in his hands. “Better?”
“No. Not better at all.” Despite her words, the lines of tension had faded from her face. She grasped his shirt in her fists and crushed her mouth to his.
Oh fuck me. He was instantly hard. He pressed closer, pinning her to the wall. Her body molded to his, soft and yielding. He couldn’t believe he was doing this. Feeling her up, making out… More, in a public restroom, with their parents sitting in the dining room.
And he had zero interest in stopping. She ground her hip against his erection, sending a jolt of desire through him. How far could they go in here? Within a limited time frame? He scraped his nails up her thigh as he dragged her skirt up past her panties. So she was wearing them. Not for long

Allyson Lindt's Your Ad Here Series

Selling Seduction
When Ian left for college. Mercy begged to go with him, so she could escape her life of probably-fatal-small-town-boredom. He refused.
Mercy found her own way out. More than a decade later, Mercy is teasing, tempting, and pushing Ian’s limits… Mostly to show him what he left behind. Only partly because he looks like a god in his tux.

My Review of #1:

Allyson Lindt's "Selling Seduction" is the first tale in the Your Ad Here series. Allyson has done it again. So very sexy. Do *not* read this when you're somewhere that you can't stop to take care of business! OMG! Ian is hawt...an OCD chick's wet dream! I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I hope sweet Liz gets a sexy love in #2.

Leasing Love
Trade show stunts. Melt-your-screen fan fiction. Tentacle Porn—Jordan and Chloe’s brash, geeky attitudes have made them tech-blog darlings. But as the media asks what’s next for the camera, the two find themselves wondering the same thing in the bedroom, and it's tearing their relationship apart.
When Liz meets open and carefree Chloe and Jordan, she seizes the opportunity to explore the unknown and her sexuality.

My Review of #2:

Allyson Lindt's "Leasing Love" is the second tale in the Your Ad Here series, but you could read it as a standalone. I loved it! Allyson write menages so very well! Hawt sexiness wrapped in a really good storyline. I couldn't put it down. I even read a couple of short stories related to the story! If you get the chance, read every little bit you can about Chloe & Jordan and Chloe & Jordan & Liz! Spank-a-thon! I can't wait to read #3 in the series!

My Review of #3:

Allyson Lindt's "Auctioning Affection" is the third tale in the Your Ad Here series, but you can read it as a standalone. It's a sweet love story...feels like a little like Meredith Wild's Hacker series and "The Goonies" wrapped together. The elements are all there for a great tale. Like "The Notebook," but less sad and with hotter sex! A dash of "Sweet Home Alabama" in there too. Love, love, love! I can't wait to read the next installment about Andrew.

Renting Romance He's a porn kingpin, she's a virgin... and his best friend's younger sister. It's a pairing directly off one of his fetish sites. He promised to keep his distance, but no one else can help her get over her public performance issues when it comes to her ballet.

My Review for #4:

Allyson Lindt's "Renting Romance" is the fourth tale in the Your Ad Here series. I was waiting to find out more about Andrew. I love how broken he is. He has a lot of depth to his character, and many different issues to overcome. Lots of sexy chemistry. I love his descriptions of her...you can tell he is truly enamored with her. I had to go start reading "Boarding Buddies" (the story of Andrew & Mercy's past, which you can get through the author's newsletter) right away.
