Review for Some Sort of Love by Melanie Harlow
On the surface, I have it all—a career I adore, a loving family, the Nixon metabolism but not the Nixon ears, and a salary that supports my lavish taste in designer shoes, fine wine, and lacy lingerie…but I have no one to share it with.
Until the day I run into him—my one night stand from college with the cocky smile, let’s-get-out-of-here eyes, and dirty, dirty mouth.
Levi Brooks is six feet four inches of hot bearded fantasy. A sexy single dad with broad shoulders, strong hands, and a fantastically big…heart. (I mean, it’s massive. And generous. And it pumps so hard… um. Sorry. Lost my place.)
But he lives for his son, and he's keeping me at a distance because he thinks I deserve someone better—a man who can give me more time, more attention, more of himself. He doesn’t believe he could ever be enough.
But he's wrong.
He’s everything.

Melanie Harlow's "Some Sort of Love" is the third tale in the Happy Crazy Love series. Jillian Nixon is the oldest and last of the Nixon sisters to be single. She's 30, a doctor and alone. She's at Abelard Vineyards for her sister, Skylar's wedding. She's just waiting for all of her relatives to ask her where her man is, why is she still single, etc. She literally is running from one of her aunt's when she runs into a solid wall of man. She looks up and is shocked to see someone from her past. A man she met in college and had a romp with in a janitors closet. Pine Sol is tall, dark, handsome, and a single dad to one 8 year old son. They end up hanging out until he needs to leave to go home to his son and they exchange numbers. Levi hasn't gotten Jillian out of his mind for the last 11 years, neither has Jillian with Levi. They make a date to see each other, and go from there. They start dating and Jillian falls fast and hard, but Levi is keeping her separate form the rest of his life and she doesn't like it. Jillian can only take so much and finally goes off on him. She feels like his piece on the side and can't do it anymore. She'd rather be alone than feel like she doesn't matter to someone she loves. Can Levi fix how he sees things? Can they make it work? Will he finally introduce her to his son and family? Find out in book 3 of this awesome series!!!!

Melanie Harlow's "Some Sort of Crazy" is the second tale in the Happy Crazy Love series. This book didn't disappoint. Melanie does it again with this sweet, funny, lovable book. This is the second book in the series and it is just as good as the first. Natalie Nixon is just living a comfortable life. She is 26 and owns her own business and a new house. She keeps trying to get her boyfriend of 10 years to move in but he keeps dodging her. They have been together since they were teens, but she feels like something is off. Her childhood friend Miles comes into town for a few days and his visit is a catalyst to everything turning upside down. Not like that's a bad thing sometimes. Can an old friend show her what she's been missing with some friendly fun? Find out in this awesome book!!!!
