Synopsis:
As the princess of Mortisali, all the rules have changed for Cassandra Collier. Not that she's always followed them, life doesn't work that way, even for a royal.
With a wedding to plan and a future to start, everything that once seemed important to Cass slowly takes the back burner as a mystery begins to unfold.
Unfortunately, the clock is ticking; the enemy is quite literally knocking at the gates, and there's a wolf among the sheep who has the potential to bring the palace down around them.
Destiny is calling. Time is running out.
Tick. Tock.

My Reviews for #1 and #2:

L.J. Stock's "Parallel" is the amazing first tale in the Mortisalian Saga. I don't give out many straight 5-star reviews, so believe me when I say this book is awesome! It's a new adult fantasy romance. Sweet and powerful. The writing and descriptions are very intense. I love the mythology with the four elements and the translocation. All the makings for an amazing series. I can't wait to read #2 and I've already added more from this author to my TBR list!

5 out of 5 stars

L.J. Stock's "From the Shadows" is the second tale in the Mortisalian Saga. This again is a very detailed fantasy with a sweet romance embedded in it. Grigori is an interesting new development. I can't wait to see what happens with him in the future. I guess we'll have to wait to see who we can trust! I just love this series - it would make a great TV series. I can't wait to read #3!

4.5 out of 5 stars

Meet The Author:
L.J. Stock has always lived in a world of her own, continuously lost in her imagination. Whether in the forests that backed up to her home in Aberdeen when she was only six years old, the unique landscape of Singapore she discovered at eight, or the rolling woodlands that rolled up to Dartmoor during her teen years, there have always been new worlds to explore.
Now an adult living in Houston, Texas, there's more concrete in the jungle surrounding her, but that doesn't mean there aren't stories to tell. She now has too many. When she's not writing, Louise can be found hanging out with her family, crazy pup, or at the computer lost in her creativity of her successful graphic design business, L.J. Designs.
