Review of Star Crossed Shifters (Pepper Valley Shifters #4) by C.A. Tibbitts
Star Crossed Shifters is book 4 in the Pepper Valley Shifters series by C.A. Tibbitts. After reading all of the books in this series I feel like the story just gets better and better with each new book and this was the best one yet. I mean, really, how can you go wrong with two love stories in one, especially when they are fighting their feeling for each other. Nick is in love with Violet and knows she is his true mate but Violet is in love with Brody who wants nothing to do with any supernatural, only humans for him plus he sees Violet as his best friends little sister, nothing more. Then Leah comes into town and changes everything. Brody may not want a supernatural as his mate but from the looks of things fate has a different plan for him where Leah is concerned. With Nick and Leah both determined to get their mates to acknowledge the love they have inside for them it seems Violet and Brody don’t stand a chance at holding them at bay, how long can these two fight the feelings they have inside? We can’t forget about our Pepper Valley Villain, Alexander Adams, he is back at it again and this time he has captured their Alpha, Finley Scott. Can the Pepper Valley clan find them and get to him in time or are they walking right into a trap? My only issue with this book is that the excitement of the fight was pretty much over as soon as it started, one minute I’m on the edge of my seat and then it’s over. I was hoping for more when it came to the fighting scene but it was still a really good book and like I said in the beginning, they just get better with each book so I am excited to see what the next one will bring.
