Review for Points of View by Tony Thorne

Note: This is *NOT* a romance, it's more of a thriller, although no one genre can encompass this novel.

Blind, young Londoner, Horace Mayberry can only dream about being a secret agent, until he acquires intelligent artificial eyes with superhuman abilities and is recruited into a secret government department.

What if you were blind, and suddenly the government offered you a way to see again by supplying you with high-tech eyes, known as intelligent Nanotronic BioVision, allowing you to see the world, literally, in a whole new way?

In return, you are to use your new points of view to serve your country, however you are asked. In the meantime, other people want to take advantage of your unique abilities as well. How do you keep yourself safe while you decide who you can trust?

My Review

Tony Thorne's "Points of View" is a standalone read. I don't usually read thrillers, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I loved it. It's a great read with lots of twists and turns. An interesting cocktail with two parts Walter Mitty, one part Jason Bourne, and three parts Inception! Did you ever see that Buffy the Vampire episode where she can't figure out if she's in the looney bin or not? This book has a similar vibe. Love it! Tony always has something interesting for me to read.

4.5 out of 5 stars
