Laramie Briscoe's "Sass" is a great read. Reed Shamrock is having a bad day. He goes home early from work since you can't do construction in the rain to find his fiance and one of his best friends in a compromising position. He leaves and runs to his other best friend, Justin's place of business where he finds Justin's sister Sass AKA Cassandra Straight. Sass has always had a thing for her older brother's best friend and it hasn't diminished one bit over the years. One year after Reed broke up with Lacey, his ex, he's at the local bar with Justin and Sass when Lacey and his ex-best friend show up. Reed wants her to hurt as much as he did so Sass offers to help him by saying she'll be his "girlfriend". From there things come to light for both of them. Can Reed have feelings for Sass that he doesn't realize? Can Sass keep up the pretense of dating Reed even though it's only for show? What will Justin think of this arrangement?
