She's lost everyone she's ever cared about and is running from an ex. She's living in the bad part of a suburb of Chicago in a rent by the hour/day motel and eating cheap food to be able to save every penny and move away ASAFP. She's working at a Circle K gas station and sees hot officer Levi Kincaid daily. He asks her out and she turns him down, it's been their routine, til one day it's not. Katrina is the manager of Mason's tattoo studio. They are on their way to Vegas for Clay and Samantha's wedding, along with Levi and Tara. Mason is a consummate manwhore and flirts and sleeps with anything in a skirt. They all go their separate ways for their bachelor/bachelorette parties. The girls end up at Coyote Ugly bar in New York, New York hotel and have some drinks. Katrina has decided to take a page for Mason's book and let loose and find a one night stand since she hasn't had a man in too many months. It's not like she can have the one man she does want because he's never looked at her as more than a friend, or has he and she just doesn't know it? The men crash the party only for Mason to see Katrina on top of the bar dancing her butt off with the crowd going nuts. One look t a guy trying to grab her throws out his protective instincts and he goes up there, tosses her over his shoulder and he leaves with her.
