Joe E. Legend and Kristal McKerrington's "Marie's World" and "Marie's World: The Aftermath" are the first two books in the Marie's World series. It's a story about the dancing and professional wrestling worlds. There is an ensemble cast, and they do a good job introducing one character at a time so you can keep track of everyone. Each new detail is presented in turn, spiraling back, so you know more and more about each person. At times it has the feel of a WWE storyline and at other times it's a sophisticated dance. A true mix of dance and wrestling! I didn't want it to end, and maybe it hasn't!

Marie's World: The Aftermath Book 2:
Marie finds herself exposed, forced to face the aftermath of having her life turned over to the public. This is not all that she must face as she repairs her relationship with her estranged husband and strained family. She finds herself uncovering a war that will see her betrayed by those she trusted the most. Everything has yet to come to ahead but when it does her heart might never recover.
