Review for Beauty in Autumn by Ruby Dixon

Inspired by the story of Beauty and the Beast, a short and sexy interpretation of the classic fairy tale…

For years untold, there has always been a beast in the cursed forest. Every year at the Harvest Festival, a new bride is sent to him...never to return. But when Willow is chosen to be the newest bride, she seeks out the help of the local wise woman.

Willow might be able to break the curse, but to do so, she must refrain from looking at the beast entirely. It sounds easy enough, but as things get heated between them, can she keep her promise? Or will she need to see who - and what - she's bedding first?

My Review

Ruby Dixon's "Beauty in Autumn" is the third tale in the Beauty collection, but it can be read as a standalone. The Beauty collection is a set of tales that reimagine the classic Beauty & The Beast tale. This particular take on the old tale is an interesting twist. Feels like "The Lottery"/"Hunger Games" crossed with something like "Sleeping Beauty." The steamy scenes are very hot and I like the blindfold action. Great little epilogue! I haven't read Ruby Dixon before, and I think I will see what else she has out there!

Ruby Dixon loves to write sexy, dirty things. Right now she's obsessed with dirty aliens. She's also dabbled in dirty bikers, dirty bears, and well, just dirty things in general.

The next ICE PLANET BARBARIANS will be a slight spinoff - PRISON PLANET BARBARIANS (May). Have you picked up your copy of BARBARIAN'S LADY? Or tried my newest release, FIRE IN HIS KISS? I think you'll like it! <3

A beauty unchained…

For ten years Cora Walker has yearned to return to Blackwood Manor…and to her childhood companion, Gideon Blake. But her dream of returning home soon becomes a nightmare—and the fully grown, dangerously sexy Gideon is nothing like the young man she’d loved before.

A beast unleashed…

Cursed by the monster that killed his family, Gideon sacrificed his heart to protect Cora from the beast that lurks beneath his skin. But when she returns and the curse chains her to his side, he only has two choices: to persuade her to marry him though he has stolen her freedom…or die to save her from the beast within.

Don’t miss the entire Beauty series!

Beauty in Winter by Alexa Riley

My Review for "Beauty in Spring":

Kati Wilde's "Beauty in Spring" is the first tale in the Beauty series (a collection of Beauty & The Beast-inspired tales from different authors). A little bit of sexy candy! I don't think I've ever heard of a mythology for Beauty & The Beast quite like this! The sexy scenes were smokin' hawt! I liked the magical aspects as well. Just a great quick read. I can't wait to read the other three seasons/authors and their take on Beauty & The Beast!
