Reviews for Immortal Obsession and Blood Tears by Denise K. Rago

Imagine, for a moment, that you are one of the last descendants of a star-crossed union

between a vampire and a mortal aristocrat in Revolution-era Paris.  More than 200 years later,

your witness of a savage murder in present-day Manhattan leads you to a mysterious, ethereal

stranger who saves your life – and entangles you in a world you never imagined was real.

This is the riveting story that begins in Immortal Obsession with mortal Amanda Perretti and her

vampire lover Christian du Mauré and continues in the sequel, Blood Tears; as vampires and

their mortal lovers struggle with the forces of betrayal, hatred, loss, guilt and love as long held

secrets and divided loyalties threaten to tear them all apart.

Both novels are part paranormal, part vampire tale and full of suspense and romance.

My Review
Denise K. Rago's "Immortal Obsession" and "Blood Tears" are the first two tales in a series. I like the universe of characters. Definitely an ensemble cast of characters! I don't want to post spoilers, but let me just say there are plenty of twists and turns. I could see this as a TV show, similar to True Blood. To me the sexy scenes are more of a "closed door" approach. I will definitely see what else this author has to offer.
4 out of 5 stars
